been elected a delegate to the
National White House Confer-
ence on Small Business it was
announced recently. Mrs.
Liberman, will represent Michi-
gan at the National Conference
on Small Business to be held in
Washington, D.C., Aug. 17-21,
1986.

Congressman Mark Siljander
(R-4th District) will address the
second annual membership
meeting of the American-Israel
Chamber of Commerce and In-
dustry, Inc., of Metropolitan De-
troit at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at
the Michigan Inn.
Siljander will speak on "Eco-
nomic Partnership Between
Countries." The Congressman
sits on the House Foreign Af-
fairs Committee and it's sub-
committee on the Middle East
and Europe.
He began serving in the
Legislature at age 35 and in
1981 was elected to fill the U.S.
Congressional seat vacated by
David Stockman. He has consis-
tently defended Israel and voted
favorably to the Jewish state on
issues relating to it.
The program also will include
a talk by Mel Ettenson,
president of Ain Plastics of
Michigan, Inc., who has experi-
ence in initiating and expanding I
imports from Israel. Ettenson
will speak on "Economic
Partnerships Between (
Businessmen."
