Dr. Marvin Revzin

Dr. Marvin Revzin, an oral
surgeon and dentist, died Nov.
29 at age 63.
A native Detroiter, Dr. Revzin
lived in Sun City, Ariz., for the•
past year. He was a 1951
graduate of the University of
Detroit School of Dentistry and
in 1976 was named its man of
the year.
From 1954 to 1962 he was the
director of dental education at
Henry Ford Hospital. In 1961,
he was the first oral surgeon in
Indonesia for Project Hope.
From 1962 to 1968, Dr. Revzin
was in private practice in De-
troit. He headed the Vietnam
Dental Education Project for the
American Dental Association
from 1968 to 1970. He also had
served as the associate dean for
hospital affairs at the Univer-
sity of Southern California.
From 1975 to 1982 he was the
dean of the school of dentistry at
the University of Missouri. He
retired in 1982.
He was a past president of the
American Board of Oral and
Maxillo-Facial Surgery.
He leaves his wife, Elaine; a

Selma Hyman, a member of
the board of directors of the
Music Hall, died Nov. 28 at age
75.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs.
III Hyman had lived in Detroit for
the past 12 years. She was a
former concert pianist.
Mrs. Hyman attended Ade1phi
College. She was a director of
Camp Deal for Boys in New Jer-
sey, president of the Women's
Auxiliary of the Poly Clinic
Hospital in New Jersey, member
of the Hollywood Country Club
'\ in Deal, N.J., a member of
Franklin Hills Country Club
and a member of Temple Beth
El.
, Mrs. Hyman leaves two sons,
Henry Ross and Allen Ross; a
brother, Edward Slotkin; and siz
grandchildren. Interment New
York.

Gertrude Feller

Gertrude Feiler, life member
and past president of the Uni-
versity Group of Hadassah, died
Dec. 1 at age 88.
Born in Toronto, Ont., Mrs.
Feiler was a member of Temple
Israel and its sisterhood. She
taught English and citizenship
to the foreign born.
Mrs. Feiler visited the Jewish
Home for Aged almost daily to
read, comfort and sew buttons
for residents unable to help
themselves.
She leaves a son, Julian of
Flint; two daughters, Mrs. San-
ford (Saretta) Ulrich of Eaton
Rapids, Mich., and Mrs. Robert
(Betty) Goodman of East Lans-
ing; eight grandchildren and
four great-grandchildren.
