its annual Chanukah party at
noon on Tuesday in the Sutton
Place club house. A holiday
luncheon will be served at a nom-
inal charge. There will be a
candlelighting ceremony, sing-a-
long, games, prizes and a
Chanukah boutique. Dorothy
Storchan, president, invites pro-
spective members and guests. The
chapter is taking reservations for
a tour of the Holocaust Center on

Joel Colman
Ida Stein, BBYO board chair-
man, announces the appointment
of Joel Colman as assistant direc-
tor of Michigan Region, B'nai
B'rith Youth Organization.
In this capacity, Colman will
work with the Aleph Zadik Aleph
(AZA) program: chapters, leader-
ship, and advisors, as well as
overall program planning and
administration;
Colman is a graduate of Oak
Park High School and Eastern
Michigan University and holds a
bachelor's degree in special edu-
cation. He has taught high school
math in Del Rio, Tex., and most
recently has taught special educa-
tion English at a kibbutz regional
high school in Israel.
Colman is also a veteran staff
member at Camp Mass for ten
summers, where he taught
drama, video and amateur radio.

Associaton of Oral and Maxillofa-
cial Surgeons Research Recogni-
tion Award.
Dr. Kelly, director of Sinai's Re-
search Institute, received the
award for his research contribu-
tion to the understanding of bone
physiology and treatment of
trauma; Dr. Small was recognized
for his 17 years of research in the
development and implementation
of the mandibular staple.
