Dina Berniker Dina Berniker, long-time de- puty to the rector (vice-president for academic affairs) at Bar-Ilan University, will be guest speaker at a meeting to be hosted by Beverly and Arthus Liss in their West Bloomfield home on Dec. 3, announced Howard Tapper, Bar-Ilan's edu- cation chairman. Born in Lithuania, Mrs. Ber- niker has been on Bar-Ilan's administrative staff since its opening in 1955, serving the last 19 years as assistant, and then chief administrative de- puty, to the university's rector. In addition, she is one of Bar- Ilan's major liaisons to the Ministry of Education and Cul- ture, as well as to the planning and grants committee of Israel's Council for Higher Education. She recently returned from Nairobi, Kenya, where she served as an Israeli delegate to the World Women's Conference. Serving with Tapper on the planning committee for the Dec. 3 meeting are: Jon Colman, Sid Feldman, Barry Fleischer, Be- rnie Kent, Jeff Robbins, Sher- man Shapiro, Dan Weiner, Lisa Weiner, Mark Vieder and Alan Yost.
