grandchildren.

HERMAN FISHER, 69, of
Charleston, S.C., died Nov. 19 in
Ann Arbor. Survived by his
wife, Doris; two sons, Mark Neal
of Miami, Fla., and Fred Arnold
of New York City; a sister, Mrs.
Sam (Dorothy) Jarow of Pem-
)roke Pines, Fla; and one
grandson. Interment Charleston.

Farmington Hills, died Nov. 16.
Survived by a son, Hyman A.;
two daughters, Mrs. Meyer
(Ilene) Frumin and Mrs. Her-
man. (Marion) Nusbaum of Cin-
cinnati, Ohio; ten grandchildren
and 11 great-grandchildren.

HELEN KAUFMAN, 86, of
Oak Park, died Nov. 14. Sur-
vived by a son, David; a daugh-
ter, Mrs. Karl (Louise) Green-
berg; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Kallus;
four grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.

ELIZABETH PODLESNY, 86,
of Southfield, died Nov. 19. Sur-
vived by her husband, Michael;
a daughter, Mrs. Olga R. Klein;
and two granddaughters.

FANNY POTASHNIK, 90, of
Oak Park, died Nov. 14. Sur-
vived by a son, Martin; two
daughters, Mrs. David (Bertha)
Dubbs and Mrs. Sid (Sylvia)
Golds; five grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren.

Clarence Ascher

Clarence L. Ascher, former
vice president of Arvey Corp.,
died Nov. 16 at age 97.
Born in Chicago, Ill., Mr.
Ascher was a member of Temple
Beth El, Great Lakes . Club,
Men's ORT Federation, and was
a board member of the Jewish
Vocational Service.
No known survivors.

ESTHER ROSMAN, 80, died
Nov. 13. She leaves two sons,
Dr. Doiiald of Hawaii and
Richard F.; and three grand-
children.

80,
former Detroiter of Los Angeles,
Calif., died Nov. 1. Survived by
a son, Stanley of Atlanta, Ga.;
and two grandchildren.

PEARL SHANBOM of South-
field died Nov. 16. Survived by a
