Edward Rosenthal
Bea Feigelman, president of
the Women of Jewish National
Fund, announced that their
pre-donor rally will be held on
Tuesday at noon at Temple
Emanu-El.
Guest speaker will be Edward
Rosenthal, executive director of
Jewish National Fund of
Greater Detroit, who recently
returned from leading a mission
to Israel. Rosenthal will present
slides of highlights of the trip as
well as the latest update of the
achievements and goals of JNF
and the current situation in Is-
rael.
The women's annual donor
event will take place Dec. 10 at
Cong. Shaarey Zedek. The pro-
ceeds of their three-year com-
mitment of $250,000 will go
towards the establishment of a
recreational area in Kiryat
Shmoneh.
Doris Markel will be chair-
man of the day at Tuesday's
meeting; Sadie Goren will give
the invocation; Shirley Kraft is
vice president of fund raising;
and Bess Axelrod is vice
president of programming.
