The Mother's Club of the
Jewish Community Center's
senior adult department will
have its annual installation
luncheon at noon Monday at the
Jaffe Hall in the Jimmy Prentis
Morris Branch of the Center.
The club is aimed at adopting
Israeli orphans.
Admission is free. All senior
adults are invited.
The senior adult department,
in conjunction with Siani Hospi-
tal, will co-sponsor a lecture on
"Healthy Heart—Keeping Your
Heart Healthy. What You Can
Do and What Surgery Can Do"
at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the JPM
assembly hall.
Dr. Frederick Levine, chief of
cardiovascular surgery at the
hospital, will be the speaker. A
special screening will take place
on Thursday from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
in room 10. There is no charge.
The Midrasha and the senior
adults will team up for a pro-
gram presented by the Hora

Aviv Dance Troupe at 1:30 p.m.

Wednesday at the Midrasha as-
sembly hall.
The program is sponsored by
the Center senior adult depart-
ment and seniors at Temple
Beth El, Temple Israel, Cong.
Shaarey Zedek and Cong. Beth
Shalom.
The public is invited, and
there is a charge.
Library programs for senior
adults will continue at 10:30
a.m. Thursday in room 15 at the
JPM Branch. Frances Weinberg
will review Rag Trade by Lewis
Orde.
At 1:30 . p.m. Thursday, a
short story will be read in room
2 at the JPM Branch by Celia
Goodman. Admission is free to
both programs.
The Lebedikeh Lobby will
take place at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 22
in the JPM Branch lobby. Celia
Dzodin will be the piano accom-
panist.
At 1:30 p.m., David Tanzman
will continue his lecture series,
"Out of Conflict—Accord" in the
assembly hall. Admission is
free.

Joanna Berger will conduct a
class for persons needing help in
writing and speaking English at
9 a.m. Mondays in the JPM
exercise room. Admission is free.
A photography class for senior
adults will begin at 1 p.m.
Thursday in room 8 of the JPM
Branch. Morrie Baker will be
the instructor.
Participants should bring
cameras and their favorite
photographs. Admission is free.

tein at the JPM Branch, 967-
4030.

SOUTHFIELD
MEN'S CLUB will hold its
Sports Day program at the
McDonnell Towers, 24350 Civic
Center Dr., Southfield, on Wed-
nesday at 1 p.m.
Lew Matlin, director of public
relations for the Detroit Tigers
will be the guest speaker. The
public is invited free of charge.

BETH ACHIM MEN'S CLUB
will have its annual square
dance at 8 p.m. Nov. 23 in the
synagogue. Ed Farr will be the
caller. Refreshments will be
served. There is a charge. For

will hold its annual games
night-feather party at 8 p.m.
