LEO BLAKE, 83, of Southfield,
died Nov. 13. Survived by a son,
Wilbert (Bill); a daughter, Mrs.
David (Elaine) Friedman Bre-
ger; three brothers, Norman,
Morris of Boca Raton, Fla., and
Julius of Canoga Park, Calif.;
two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Fried-
man and Mrs. Sidney (Marion)
Kerwin; three grandchildren
and one great-granddaughter.

LUCILLE CAYSON, 59, died
Nov. 9. She leaves a daughter,
Mrs. Sidney (Deborah) Parker;
her mother, Mrs. Morris
(Freida) Passman of New York;
three brothers, Abraham
Passman and David Passman,
both of New York, and Robert
Passman of Connecticut; and
one grandson.

MAX EPSTEIN, 89, died Nov.
6. He leaves a sister, Mrs. Max
(Buena) Lichter.

MARY FELDMAN, former De-
troiter of Las Vegas, Nev., died
Nov. 1. Survived by three
brothers, Nathan H. of North
Miami, Fla., Hyman and Ed-
ward; a sister, Mrs. Sol (Lillian)
Tananbaum of Chicago, Ill.;
nieces and nephews.

MAX FREEDMAN, 80, died

Nov. 10. He leaves his wife,
Julie; two sons, Harvey and
Marvin; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph
(Sharon) Katz; three brothers,
Nathan, Alex and Steve, all of
California; 13 grandchildren and
five great-grandchildren.

GOLDIE LETT, 80, of South-
field, died Nov. 6. Survived by a
son, Marshall; a daughter, Mrs.
Milton (Harriet) Whiteman of
Windsor, Ont.; a brother, Ben
Miller of Reseda, Calif.; two sis-
ters, Mrs. Zang (Betty) Garber
and Mrs. Sol (Freda) Blue of
Rossmoor, Calif.; and four
grandchildren.

LOUIS ROSENFELD, 70, of
Southfield, died Nov. 8. Sur-
vived by a son, Henry; a daugh-
ter, Mrs. Mark (Susan) Jaffe;
two brothers, Joseph of Reseda,
Calif., and Martin of Oak Park;
two sisters, Mrs. Rose Goldstein
and Mrs. Roland (Ilene)
Schwalb; and five grand-
children.

LENA SHULMAN, 92, of West

Bloomfield, died Nov. 12. Sur-
vived by two sons, David and
Harry; two daughters, Mrs.
Sophie Wolf and Mrs. Lawrence
(Frances) Zeid; ten grand-
children and nine great-grand-
children.

Nov. 11. She leaves a son, Sid-
ney Prusin of Maryland; a
daughter, Mrs. Philip (Dorothy)
Lepofsky; four grandchildren

Shirley Nachman

Shirley Nachman, a founding
member of Adat Shalom
Synagogue, died Nov. 8 at age
71.
Born in Toronto, Ont., Mrs.
Nachman lived 60 years in De-
troit. She was a member of Na-
tional Council of Women,
Hadassah, Women's American
ORT, B'nai B'rith Women,
David-Horodoker Women's
Organization and Adat Shalom
Sisterhood.
For many years Mrs.
Nachman worked in the real es-
tate development business with
her late husband, Harry.
She is survived by a son, Al-
lan; two daughters, Mrs. Barry
(Linda) Goodman and Mrs. Do-
lores Curiel; two brothers, Mur-
ray Rich of Willowdale, Ont.,
and Ben Rich of Toronto; a sis-
ter, Mrs. Sam (Evelyn) Fisher of
Toronto; six grandchildren.
