Field, referring to a report is- sued by the UIA's committee on relations with the U.S. govern- ment, praised Detroiter Paul Zuckerman for serving as the committee's chairman. One bill stated that only Jews could become citizens of Israel. The other forbade marriages be- tween Jews and non-Jews.
