Bier-Herschfus

Andrea • Gail Herschfus,
daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Leon
Herschfus of Southfield, and
Bryan Bier, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Horace Bier of Livingston, N.J.,
were married recently at the
Michigan Inn in Southfield.
Wendy Maltz was the bride's
maid of honor. Robin Bier was
the matron of honor. Brides-
maids were Ruth Bier, Joyce
Massoth, Annette Snyder, Linda
Abraham and Michelle
Herschfus. Junior bridesmaid
was Sara Eisenberg. Flower
girls were Rachiel Bier and Sara
Sternstein.
The bridegroom's brother,

Joseph Bier, was best man.
Ushers were Bruce Bier, Neil
Massoth, Marc Steven
Herschfus, Maurice Philip
Herschfus, Brian Howard
Herschfus, Avery Harris, Har-
vey Speizer and Larry Landau.
The bride was graduated from
the University of Detroit Dental
School with a dental hygiene
certificate and B.S. degree. Her
husband is a graduate of the
Stevens Institute of Technology
with a B.E. degree in engineer-
ing.
Following a honeymoon in
Hawaii, the couple is residing in
West Orange, N.J.

Arleen Kohn and Dr. Allen
Robert Platt were married re-
cently at Cong. B'nai David.
Rabbi Morton Yolkut and Can-
tor Hyman Adler officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Alan and Phyllis Kohn of South-
field. Parents of the bridegroom
are Harold and Michelle Platt of
Oak Park.

Michelle Marsch was the mat-
ron of honor. Bridesmaids were
Melissa Kalman•, Carin Booke,
Susan Kushner, Liz Kirshner,
Hillary Polan, Susan Marsch,

Pamela Bluestone and Judy
Glassman.
The best man was Murray
Platt. Ushers were Robert Kal-
