Lecture Subject

"Can the Ethiopian Jews Sur-
vive in Israel: Problems of Ab-
sorption" will be the subject of a
lecture to be delivered by Rabbi
Morton F. Yolkut at 8:15 p.m.
Tuesday at Cong. B'nai David.
The lecture is the third and
final in a series entitled "Ethio-
pian Jewry: Problems and Con-
troversy." The lecture is open to
the public without charge.

Diabetes Test
Is Offered

Sinai Hospital of Detroit, in
cooperation with the American
Diabetes Association/Michigan
Affiliate, will participate in a
state-wide diabetes screening
program during National Diab-
etes Week next week. Sinai's
Department of Laboratory
Medicine will test, at no cost,
anyone who is not now diabetic.
Walk-in testing will be avail-
able Monday through Nov. 8,
from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., in
Sinai's main lab in the Fried-
man Wing or the outpatient lab
in the Blumburg Professional
Office Building. Same-day test
results will be available to all
participants.

one-act plays, opens Thursday at
the Studio Theatre in the Gen-
eral Lectures Hall, Warren at
Third at Wayne State Univer-
sity. Performances are Thurs-
days, Fridays and Saturdays at
