Michael B. Perlman was re-

elected president of the board of
directors of the Jewish Federa-
tion Apartments at 'its annual
dinner meeting.
Also re-elected were Vice
Presidents: Neil Satovsky, Dr.
Hershel Sandberg and Tillie
Brandwine; Secretary, Miriam
Mondry; Assistant "Secretary,
Janet Levine; Treasurer, Jack
Zwick.
Elected to a first three-year
term were: Ellen Bean; Norman
Horowitz, Robert Schecter, Gil-
bert B. Silverman, Carl Ruby,
Harvey Wolf and Rabbi Lane
Steinger. The' nominating com-
mittee consisted of Sheldon
Winkelman, Tillie Brandwine,
Joel Gershenson, Marjorie
Krasnick and Leo Sklar.
Perlman announces the forth-
coming chai 'anniversary party
to be held Nov. 24. An open
house to be held in Oak Park at
the Anna and Meyer Prentis
Federation Apartments from 1-4
p.m. In conjunction with —this
celebration honoring the 18th
years of service to the elderly,
will be the opening of the
Jewish Detroit Historical Photo-
graphic Exhibit. The public is
invited.
Helen Naimark, executive di-
rector, presented to the board,
the plaque" awarded the apart-
ments as' "facility of the year"
by the Michigan Non-Profit
Homes Association. The award,
in part, was for such intergen-
erational programming as the
Dor L' Dor Concert given in
cooperation with Hind Day
School and the National Council
of Jewish Women of Greater De-
troit.
