nounces that BBW International
President-Elect Irma Gertler of
Milwaukee, Wis., will address
the women's Special Gifts
Luncheon at 11:30 a.m., Thurs-
day at Cong. Shaarey Zedek.
Doreen Hermelin will be hon-
ored as the 1985 BBW Woman
of the Year. - ,
Proceeds. from the luncheon
will benefit the B'nai B'rith
Children's Home in Israel, a
- modern residential treatment,
center for the rehabilitation of
emotionally disturbed boys aged
8-14.
For the past two years, Mrs.
Gertler has served- as BBW vice
president and heads .the BBW
national study committee.
Among her many other lead-
ership positions,' Mrs. Gertler
served as national treasurer, ,
chairman of. the. budget . and fi-
nance committee of .BBW and is
active in the Anti-Defamation
