Institute Day
On Thursday
Arthur Blu Greenberg will be
keynote speaker at the Jewish
Welfare Federation Women's
Division 38th annual Institute
Day.
The event is set for 9 a.m. to
2:15 p.m. Thursday at Adat
Shalom Synagogue.
Greenberg has written several
books and articles on feminism
and Jewish issues. She recently
authored How to Run a.Tradi-
tional Jewish Household, a
guide for establishing and main-
taining a traditional Orthodox
Jewish home.
The program will feature an
exploration by Greenberg of the
role of Jewish values and ac-
tivity as they, apply to everyday
social and political life. High-
lighting her address will be four
workshop sessions focusing on
Jewish/black concerns; women's
rights — the 1985 Nairobi Con-
ference; family and children's is-
sues; and health care law and
medical ethics.

hold a Torah Fund Residence

Luncheon on Oct. 28 at 11:30
