Conference will be held 7:30
p.m. Oct. 24 and 9:30 a.m. Oct.
25. at Temple Israel.
This year's conference theme
will be "The Importance 'of
.Self-Esteem." The two-part pro-
gram is aimed at enhancing
children's self-esteem.
Guest speakers will be Alexis •
Stein and (Howard Winokeur,
founder of To Life, a non-profit
educational organization spe-
cializing in life enhancement.
The organization. recently was
named the Mental Health
Organization of the year in
North Carolina.

participants will practice listen-
ing skills, explore ways to cope
with anger and other feelings
and learn how to give and get

Oct. 25 workshop are free and
