Bennet Kleinman, Cleveland
attorney and community leader
will be the featured speaker at
the Jewish National Furld's
dinner on Wednesday when JNF
will honor Dean E. Richardson
with the "Tree of Life" Award, it
was announced by Franklin J.
Ellias, president of JNF of
Greater Detroit, and dinner co-
chairmen Joseph E. De-
Caminada, Gerald Greenwald
and Richard D. Rohr. The
dinner will be held at Cong.
Shaarey Zedek at 6 p.m.
Kleinman is the former
president of Cleveland's Temple
Emanu-El and serves as the
chairman of the board of gover-
nors, Cleveland College and
Jewish Studies, and as chair-
man of Jewish National Fund
Foundation.
He is a member of the Jewish
Federation, Bureau of Jewish
Education, Union of American
Hebrew Congregations and the
•
Citizens League of Greater
Cleveland. Kleinman is also a
member of the board of gover-
nors of Israel Bonds.
He has received the Man of
Achievement Award as well as
the Cleveland ORT Man of the
Year Award in his community.
He also is a member of the Na-
tional Campaign Cabinet of the
United Jewish Appeal.
