GOLDMAN and MORRIS GOLDMAN Bernard Breyer Bernard Alfred Breyer, a pharmacist, died Oct. 13 at age 72. Born in Detroit, Mr. Breyer was graduated from the Univer- sity of Michigan School of Pharmacy in 1936. He owned the Bond Drug Co. in Detroit until 1974, when he sold his business. Mr. Breyer served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1945 as chief pharmacist mate. He was a member of Cong. Shaarey Zedek and past president of its men's club, past president of Aesculapian Phar- maceutical Society, and was a member of the Michigan State Pharmacists Association. Mr. Breyer was active in efforts for the Allied Jewish Campaign. He is survived by his wife, Mildred; a son, Dr. Michael 4; a daughter, Mrs. Samuel (Enid) Wapner; a sister, Mrs. Olga Mogel; and three grandchildren. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Pernick lived in Detroit prior to retiring to Lauderdale Lakes, Fla., ten years ago. She also was an accountant with the Wayne County Inter- mediate School District. Mrs. Pernick was a charter member of Temple Israel and was affil- iated with the Detroit Associa- tion for Retarded Citizens. She leaves two sons, Lawrence of Southfield and Roger of Wil- mington, Del.; a daughter Mrs. Raymond (Marthe) Riley o' Wal- led Lake; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Edna) Persky of Florida; and five grandchildren.
