He was a member of Cong. Shaarey Zedek, American Dental Association, Michigan and De- troit Dental Societies. He was an honorary member of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Dr. Coggan was graduated in 1923 from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He leaves his wife, Esther; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Rhoda) Grushko of Houston, Tex.; a son, Dr. Lawrence; a brother, Dr. Robert of Pompano Beach, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Jack (Rose) Werth- eimer of Palm Springs, Calif.; and seven grandchildren: Peter Salter Peter Salter, retired owner of Intercity Sign Co. in Detroit, died Sept. 20 at age 72. Born in Canada, Mr.,,Salter lived in De an ars prior to mov'ng to West Palm Beach, three years ago. He owned and operated his business for more than 40 years. While in De- troit, he was a member of Adat Shalom Synagogue. He is survived by his wife, Rose; three daughters, Janice A. of Los Angeles, Calif., Phyllis C. Kotoff of Royal Oak and Nancy B.
