will officiate.
CONG. BETH SHALOM:
Erev Shemini Atzeret services
will be at 6 p.m. Sunday. Serv-
ices will continue at 9 a.m.
Monday (Yizkor) with Minchah
and Maariv at 6:30 p.m., fol-
lowed by Simchat Torah cele-
brations in the main sanctuary.
Tuesday's services will be at 9
a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Rabbi David
A. Nelson will officiate, and
Cantor Samuel L. Greenbaum
will chant the liturgy.
CONG. B'NAI DAVID: Serv-
ices for Shemini Atzeret will be
at 6:30 p.m. Sunday and 8:30
a.m. Monday. Simchat Torah
services will be at 6:30 p.m.
Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Concluding services will be at 7
p.m. Tuesday. Yizkor will be re-
cited at about 10:15 a.m. Mon-
day. A children's Simchat Torah
march will take place Monday,
with youth age 4-16 meeting in
assigned age groups at 6:30 p.m.
A party in the synagogue succah
will follow. Rabbi Morton F.
Yolkut will officiate, and Can-
tors Hyman J. Adler and Barry
Ulrych will chant the liturgy.
CONG. B'NAI ISRAEL OF
WEST BLOOMFIELD: Rabbi
Sherman P. Kirshner will of-
ficiate at Shemini Atzeret and
Simchat Torah services at Cong
B'nai Israel of West Bloomfield.
Shemini Atzeret Yizkor services
will be at 9 a.m. Monday. Sim-
chat Torah services will be at 7
p.m. Monday, preceded by a suc-
cah party at 6:30 p.m. Tradi-
tional Hakafot will take place.
Simchat Torah services will con-
tinue at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

be at 6:45 and 7:45 a.m. Sunday.

at 7 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 a.m

SYNAGOGUE: Shemini At-
zeret services will be at 7:30
a.m. Monday with Yizkor at
8:45 a.m. Additional Yizkor
services will be at 10 a.m., 11
a.m. and noon. Rabbi Noah
Gamze will speak on "The Ties
Which Bind Us." Evening serv-
ices will be at 5:15 . Simchat
Torah services will be at 7:30
a.m. and 5:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Rabbi Gamze will officiate, and
Cantor Israel I. Idelsohn will
chant the liturgy.
TEMPLE EMANU-EL: A
Simchat Torah Eve-consecration
service will be at 7:30 p.m. Sun-
day. Simchat Torah morning
services will be at 10:30 Monday
(Yizkor). Rabbi Lane Steinger
will officiate, and cantor Nor-
man Rose will chant the liturgy.
TEMPLE KOL AMI: She-
mini Atzeret services will be at
7:30 p.m. Sunday. The consecra-
tion of newly enrolled students
in the lower grades of the reli-
gious school will take place.
Yizkor will be recited at 10:30
a.m. Monday. A family Simchat
Torah service will take place at
7:30 p.m. Monday. There will be
songs and refreshments. Rabbi
Ernst J. Conrad will officiate.
LIVONIA JEWISH CON-
GREGATION: Shemini Atzeret
services will be at 8 p.m. Mon-
day. Yizkor will be recited at 9
a.m. Tuesday. Rabbi Martin D.
Gordon will officiate, and Can-
tor David A. Gutman will chant
the liturgy.
CONG. SHAAREY ZEDEK:
Concluding Succot services will
be held at 6 p.m. Sunday and
8:45 a.m. Monday. Memorial
plaques will be dedicated and
Yizkor recited. Simchat Torah
Eve services will be held at 7:15
p.m. Monday followed by the
Torah processional in the main
sanctuary at 7:45 p.m. Simchat
Torah services will be at 8:45
a.m. Tuesday. Rabbis Irwin
Groner and Kenneth Cohen will
officiate, and Cantors Chaim

chant the liturgy.
TROY JEWISH CONGRE-
GATION: Simchat Torah serv-

day in the Lutheran Church of
the Master, 3333 Coolidge, Troy.
