JPM, Midrasha
Join For Classes

The Jimmy Prentis Morris
Branch of the Jewish Commu-
nity Center will be the scene of
a beginner's Hebrew class, spon-
sored by the Midrasha, at 10:30
a.m. Tuesdays beginning Oct.
15. The class will run for 10
weeks. There is a fee.
Persons who wish to improve
the way they speak English can
take a class at 9:30 a.m. Mon-
days free of charge at the Morris
Branch.
Beginner's and intermediate
bridge will begin at 1 p.m. Oct.
17, and run for ten weeks at the
Morris Branch. There is a fee.
The class also will be offered at
7 p.m. Tuesdays beginning Oct.
15. There is a fee.
Betty Starkman will teach a
class entitled, "Exploring Your
Roots," and Sybil Mintz will
conduct a class on "Jewish His-
tory through Art" beginning
Oct. 14. There is a fee.
A Weight Watchers group
meets at 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays
at the JPM Branch. A photog-
raphy class, conducted by Mor-
rie Baker, will be held on
Thursdays.

Workmen's Circle will begin
its next adult Yiddish class on
Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the
Workmen's Circle Educational

The eight-week class is geared
