nounce the engagement of their
daughter, Dr. Alana Ruth
Spiwak, to Sam L. Stolbun, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard S.
Stolbun of Houston, Tex.
Dr. Alana Spiwak earned an
M.D. degree at the University of
Michigan Medical School. She is
a psychiatrist in private practice
in Houston. She also is clinical
medical director of the adoles-
cent psychiatry unit of Spring
Shadows Glen in Houston.
Her fiance earned a J.D. de-
gree in law at the University of
Texas Law School. He is a part-
ner in the law firm of Stolbun,
Stolbun, Kelso and. Flox in
Houston.
A November wedding is
