Diplomate, American Board of Internal Medicine his capacity as chairman of the Arab group during the month of September. He requested the meeting to consider Israeli practices against the civilian population in the Palestinian occupied territories." In a related development, the Israeli Supreme Court last week rejected the appeals by 11 Arabs against deportation from the territory. The 11 are among the several hundred convicted ter- rorists released from prison last May and permitted to return to their homes. They are suspected of renewed terrorist activity and were expected to be deported this week. Friday, Rafah police detained a terrorist who was released last May in. the prisoner exchange deal with Ahamad Jibril. No specific reasons were given for the detention, except that the terrorist has violated the condi- tions of the release. The princi- ple of those conditions has been that the freed terrorists would not engage in any way in anti- Israel activities. There are more than 200.freed terrorists living in the Gaza region. A second terrorist has been detained in the past few days because he, too, allegedly violated the conditions for his release. In Jerusalem, police ques- tioned Friday a soldier who opened fire Thursday night at an Arab-owned bus, wounding five passengers. The soldier, who waited to be picked at hitch-hiking station near Shuafat, in the north of Jerusalem, claimed he began shooting after a bottle, or some other object, had been thrown at him. An hour later, a no. 25 egged bus, traveling in the same road, was stoned, leaving five passengers lightly injured. An additional seven persons were placed under administra- tive arrest in the territories last week. The seven had allegedly been involved in terrorist activi- ties, over a long period. The ar- rests bring the number of ad- ministrative detainees now held in the West Bank to 70. A senior security source said Thursday PLO leader Yasser Arafat was behind the stepped up terrorist activities in the ter- ritories. The source said Arafat hoped that this way he would induce the U.S. to pressure Is- rael to reach a political settle- ment. The source sharply attacked the rapproachment between King Hussein and Arafat, say- ing that as a result Amman was losing grounds to Arafat in the territories. He added that Hus- sein's rapprochment had dealt a serious blow to the gliances of Jordan, because poaoo Arafat's Fatah group was the main force between the renewed wave of terrorist activities. The source said that the eight-man gang caught aboard the yacht Casselredit by the Is- raeli Navy last month had been intensively trained in Alberia to go on a killing mission in Kiryat Shmona. 27 le \ W itz.6, Elm — Man IIHIlair 12 MILE 5 HAIR STYLISTS TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR PIECE AT ALL TIMES!
