The Plot ,is a beautifully con-

very . opening scenes, a dentist;
Bruce Pleckstein, is murdered.
Seems that Dr. Bruce, one of the
most successful periodontists on
Long Island, had been. dishing
out plenty of non-dental tender,
loving . care to a long list, of
patients. So there are lots, of
suspects; all those compromised
women, along with their jealous
husbands. .
Susan Sarandon ,plays a
patient ho resisted Dr. Bruce's
blandishments. A former news-,
paper reporter, Sarandon is in
triguedhy the murder. It makes
her nose for news twitch. And
turns her. on to, do, something
more then make cookies .and
tend house. She can't resist di-
ving in to the case.
