Art Tour, Lunch
For Bond Women

Metro Detroit Israel Bonds
Women's Division will hold its
third annual art tour and
luncheon at 9:30 a.m. Thursday
in the home of Marlene Borman,
announces Doreen Hermelin, di-
vision chairman.
Women who have made or
plan to make independent Israel
Bond purchases of $1,500 or
more in 1985, will board special
buses for a tour of private art
collectios in the homes of Helen
and Paul Zuckerman and Ger-
trude and Leonard Kasle.
Docents from the Detroit In-
stitute of Arts will be on hand
to provide commentary on the
collections.
A guest luncheon at the home
of Mrs. Borman will begin at
12:30 p.m.
Chairing the event is Bluma
Schechter; co-chairman is Sha-
ron Brown; chairman of the Is-
rael Bonds Sponsor Society is
Barbara Stollman.
The art tour and luncheon are
open to all members and poten-
tial members of the Israel Bond
Sponsor Society. Call the Israel
Bond office, 557-2900, for reser-
vations.

Menopause Study
Seeks Volunteers

Female subjects are being
sought for two research projects
at the Lafayette Clinic in which
menopausal flushing (hot
flashes) is being studied and
treatment regimens perfected.
Women volunteers for the
study must be menopausal, free
of drugs fos' the course of the
study, and in good general
health. All volunteers will be
compensated with a cash pay-
ment at the end of the study. In
addition, volunteers will receive
free treatment during the course
of the study as well as a com-
plete physical, including mam-
mogram, urinalysis and blood
chemistry.
