At Men's Meeting
Carl Lichtenstein of Adat
Shalom Synagogue received the
Ma'asim Tovin Award at the
Federation of Jewish Men's
Clubs' recent convention in. New
'York.
Cong. Shaarey Zedek won four
Torch Awards for overall pro-
gramming, youth activities,
adult education programs and
fellowship programs. Adat
Shalom Synagogue won a Torch
Award for social action and
Ahavas Israel of Grand Rapids
won one for programming.
Delegates to the convention
included Sheldon B. Satovsky,
who was elected to the interna-
tional board and served as con-
vention co-chairman; Dr. Har-
vey Nussbaum, Abraham
Satovsky, Alan Levinson, Can-
tor Chaim Najman and
Stephanie and Scott Satovsky.
