Gimelfarb is an aviation tech- nician who has been refused a visa on the grounds of no reunification of family in spite of the fact that his parents, Sara and Israel live in Rishon Letz- ion, Israel. Diana's parents, Chaim and Yudit Solovei, applied for their exit visas in November 1977 and were first refused in January 1978 because of Sol- ovei's army service from 1968 to 1971. He was not able to complete university studies and thus has no particular profession or field of specialization. His army serv- ice did not expose him to any state secrets. The family has no relatives left in the USSR. All of their relatives left in the USSR. All of their relatives are in Is- rael.
