August will co-chair a special workshop on "The Jewish Poor and Near Poor" at the Council of Jewish Federa- tions' Fall quarterly meeting this weekend in New York City. August is chairman of the Jewish Welfare Federation's Conference of Division Chair- men. Dr. Allen S. Juris, associate executive director of Federation, will also attend a special CJF workshop, for major Jewish community planners.
