Samuel Lewis New York — Former United States Ambassador to Israel Samuel Lewis has been ap- pointed Senior Dayan Fellow at Tel Aviv University for the 1985-1986 academic year. According to TAU President Moshe Many, Lewis will spend four months at the school's Dayan Center for . Middle East- ern and African Studies lectur- ing on the political and military history of the Middle East. Lewis served as the American envoy to Israel for eight years, stepping down from the post in 1984
