TER and LOUIS MARSHALL
LODGE will hold a joint meeting

B'nai B'rith Women will hold a
by-invitation-only parlor meeting
in the home of Barbara and Irving
Nusbaum in Franklin, to open the
1985-1986 fund-raising campaign
to raise monies for its agencies in-
cluding the Children's Home in
Israel, Anti-Defamation League,
Hillel houses on college cam-
puses, B'nai B'rith Girls and AZA
youth organizations.
The luncheon meeting intro-
duces the women's council 1985-
1986 Woman of the Year, Doreen
Hermelin.
Ethel Levy and Rose Meskin,
co-chairmen for the parlor lunch-
eon, announce that the speaker
will be Linda Garfield, who will
discuss the Children's Home in Is-
rael and the various programs
and agencies of B'nai B'rith
Women.
A member of Centennial Chap-
ter of B'nai B'rith Women, Mrs.
Hermelin was recently honored as
one of 12 metropolitan Detroit
residents who received the Heart
of Gold Award during the 18th
annual United Foundation award
luncheon.
She is affiliated with Sisterhood
of Cong. Shaarey Zedek, National
Council of Jewish Women,
Women's Division of Israel Bonds,
Hadassah, Hillel Day School, De-
troit Institute of Arts, Michigan
Opera Theater, Detroit Sym-
