Richard and Tamar Solway

Tamar Schlick and Richard
Joel Solway were married re-
cently at Cong. Beth Shalom.
Rabbi David Nelson and Cantor
Samuel Greenbaum officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Haim and Dr. Shulamith Schlick
of Haifa, Israel, and Southfield.
Parents of the bridegroom are
Merle and Jack Solway of Bloom-
field Hills.
Karen Blechman was the maid
of honor. Bridesmaids were
Judith Solway, sister of the
bridegroom, and Yael and Dafna
Schlick, sisters of the bride.
Mitchell Ferguson was the best
man. Usher was Robert Solway,
brother of the bridegroom.
The bridegroom's grandmother,
Jeanette Shuman, also partici-
pated in the ceremony.
The new Mrs. Solway was
graduated from Wayne State
University and is pursuing
studies toward a doctorate in
applied mathematics at New
York University. The brideg-
room, a graduate of Northwestern
University and Stanford Univer-
sity, recently received an M.B.A.
degree from NYU and will be
working for Coopers and Lybrand
in New York City.
Following a honeymoon in
Spain, the couple will reside in
New York City.
