ENGAGEMENTS

Diamond-Check
Joseph and Phyllis Diamond of
West Bloomfield announce the
engagement of their daughter,
Janis Susan, to Dr. Benjamin Ste-
ven Chack, son of Fredelle Chack
of Philadelphia, and the late Mr.
Morton Chack.
Miss Diamond earned a
Bachelor of Arts degree in ac-
counting at Michigan State Uni-
versity and holds a CPA certifi-
cate.
Dr. Chack earned a Bachelor of
Arts degree at the University of
Pennsylvania and a DO degree at
the Philadelphia College of Oste-
opathic Medicine. He is currently
pursuing a residency in otolaryn-
gology in Philadelphia.
An October wedding is planned.

Einstandig - Unger
Mr. and Mrs. Newton Einstan-
dig of Southfield announce the
engagement of their daughter,
Renee, to Rick Unger, son of Mrs.
Shirlee Unger and the later Mr.
Joseph Unger.
Renee earned a diploma in
nursing at Shapero School of
Nursing. She is employed at
Botsford Hospital.
Her fiance earned a law degree
at the Detroit College of Law. He
is employed at Rodnick and Un-
ger, P.C.
A fall wedding is planned.

Support Groups
Dates Set

Beaumont Hospital will spon-
sor two support groups for the fall.
A support group for diabetics, 17
years of age and older, and a sup-
port person will begin on Tuesday
at 7 p.m. in the nuclear medicine
department classroom. The group
will meet the first Tuesday of
every month.
A support group for persons
with Parkinson's disease and fam-
ily members or friends will begin
Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. in the nuclear
medicine classroom. Meetings
will be held the second Monday of
each month.

For information on the Parkin-
son's disease group, call the hospi-
tal's instructional technology de-
