Lobenthal assumed his ADL
post in 1964. During the past two
decades he has also been a civil
rights consultant throughout the
state and has served on the fa-
culty of a number of Michigan col-
leges and universities. The
Michigan ADL director is a com-
mentator on social issues for De-
troit's public radio station,
"8 WDET-FM.
The lecture and accompanying
lunch are open to the public at a
nominal charge. The event is free
