vide transportation and compan-

The service also offers training,
job counseling and placement to

The first general meeting of the
1985-1986 program year for the
Women's Auxiliary of the United
Hebrew Schools will take place on
Sept. 11, at noon at the UHS
building, 21550 W. 12 Mile,
Southfield, according to Program
Vice President Sonia Lippenholtz.
Judy Goldstein, Detroit
folksinger, will entertain with
songs in English, Hebrew, Yid-
dish and Russian. Her repetoire
spans more than 100 years of
Jewish history and culture, com-
bining in her performance much
of the history reflected in the
choice of material, expressions of
Eastern Europe, Yiddish theater,
and modern-day Israel.
Donor kits may be dropped off
and ticket monies turned in at
this meeting. Funds raised by the
Women's Auxiliary are awarded
to UHS students for teacher train-
ing programs, Hebrew-speaking
camps and Israel programs.
