Schiff; Secretary, Dorene Finer. Nominated for a three-year term as board members are David Barg, Donald Blitz, Pola Friedman, Ellen Labes, Rabbi Harold Loss, Edward Lumberg, Henry Wineman H, James Zack. Board members nominated for a second three-year term are Ste- ven L. Morris, Schiff, Bernard Schreier and Donna Slatkin. The following modifications of the Fresh Air Society's Bylaws are proposed: Article III, Affiliations, Sec- tion 1: The society shall be a constituent member of the Jewish Welfare. Federation of Detroit and of the United Foun- dation, and of any other organ- izations which may be deemed necessary by its board of direc- tors. Article IV, Directors, Section 4: No member shall be eligible to be a director after serving two (2) successive terms, unless one (1) year shall intervene fol- lowing the expiration of such 'member's second (2) term. How- ever, if a director is elected to an office in the sixth (6) year of his term as a director, he shall be eligible for re-election as a director for an additional three (3) year term, and as an officer during such additional period of three (3) years, if not in contra- vention of Section 1 of Article VI of these by-laws. Further provided that if, by virtue of the provisions of Sec- tion 4 of this Article V, a direc- tor who is serving for more than two (2) successive terms should be elected to the presidency dur- ing the additional three- (3)- year period mentioned in said Section 4, such person•may con- tinue in office as president and director for a period not to ex- ceed three (3) years from the date of such person's election to the presidency, except as prohib- ited by Section 1 of Article VI of these by-laws. And further provided that if, by virtue of the provisions of Section 4 of this Artice V, a di- rector who is serving for more than two (2) successive terms should be elected to the vice presidency during the additional three- (3)-year period mentioned in said Section 4, such person may continue in office as vice president and director for a period not to exceed three (3) years from the date of such per- son's election to the vice presidency, except as prohibited by Section 1 of Article .Vi of these by-laws. Section 6: All past presidents of the society, and the president and the executive vice president of the Jewish Welfare Federa- tion of Detroit, shall be ex- officio members of the board. In addition, individuals appointed by the Young Adult Division of the Jewish Welfare Federation, and individuals appointed by such other organizations which have aided the efforts of the Fresh Air Society shall serve as ex-officio members of the board with the consent of the board of directors. Article XII, Standing Commit- tees, Section 1: There shall be the following Standing Commit- tees: Budget, Property Manage- ment, Long Range Planning, Medical, Personnel, Program, Nominating, Community Rela- tions, Family Camping Commit- tee, Endowment Committee.
