has been named a. finalist in the
International Juried Art Compe-
tition.
Her works will be exhibited at
the Mussavi Gallery in New
York through Aug. 28.
Ms. .Kashdan, a painter, sub-
mitted two works for the compe-
tition, Museum Cross Section,
Paris Performance Piece (oil on

been appointed program director
and Arlene R. Potashner, pro-
gram supervisor, of Windsor
Jewish Community Council.
Mrs. Medler is a Windsor na-
tive who attended the Univer-
sity of Windsor where she re-
ceived a B.S.W. degree. She will
receive an M.S.W. degree at the
fall convocation of the univer-
sity.
Mrs. Potashner is a native of
Toronto. She received Bachelor
of Arts and Bachelor of Educa-
tion degrees at the University of
Toronto. She will receive her
master's degree in education
from the University of Windsor
at the fall convocation.
