Stuart Hamburger

Dr. Stuart Hamburger,
hairman of the department of
urgery at Sinai Hospital, has
een appointed to the position of
linical professor of surgery, sec-
ion of general surgery, at the
niversity of Michigan School of
Medicine.
Sinai's surgical residency pro-
gram is affiliated with the U-M
medical school and, as program
director of surgical resident
training at Sinai, Dr. Ham-
burger is responsible for the
education of U-M residents at
Sinai in head and neck surgery.
A resident of Franklin, Michi-
gan, Dr. Hamburger has been
head of surgery at Sinai since
January 1984. He has been
associated with the hospital
since 1954, in many areas of
administrative responsibility in
the department of surgery.
