Cora Evelyn Grosberg, a na-
tive and former resident of De-
troit, died July 25 in Belmont,
Calif. Mrs. Grosberg had been
living in northern California
since 1963.
Mrs. Grosberg was a past
president of the Detroit Chapter
of B'nai B'rith, a life member
and former president of the
Greater Detroit Women's Coun-
cil of B'nai B'rith (1958), and a
volunteer at Detroit's Sinai
Hospital and with the Wayne
County Cancer Society. She was
also very active with the B'nai
B'rith Youth Organization in
the Detroit area.
Since moving to California 22 .
years ago, Mrs. Grosberg was
actively involved in many
northern California community ,
and charitable activities. She
was a volunteer for over 21
years at the Sequoia Hospital in
Redwood City, Calif., past
president of Temple Beth Jacob
(Redwood City) Sisterhood, and
an active member of local
Hadassah, Brandeis University
National . Women's Committee
and Women's American ORT
chapters. Mrs. Grosberg was
also co-owner of Belmont
Clothes in Belmont.
She is survived by her hus-
band, David; two sons, Sheldon
of. Potomac, Md., and Larry of
New York City; a daughter
=i Barbara Gauthier of Rancho
Palos Verdes, Calif.; and five
grandchildren.

Financier, 41,
Commits Suicide

Tel Aviv (JTA) — Michael
Albin, the 41-year-old financial
wizard who plunged to his death
Saturday from a third-floor win-
dow in the police headquarters
in Jaffa when left along briefly
during a fraud squad interroga-
tion, was buried Monday at a
quiet funeral. -
Tourism Minister Avraham
Sharir of the Likud's Liberal
party, which Albin had sup-
ported, delivered a eulogy at the
graveside. •
Albin was manager of the Is-
raeli holdings and affairs of the
international multi-millionaire
entrepreneur Shaul Eisenberg
until, last year, when the two
men quarreled. Eisenberg al-
legedly charged Albin with the"
mismanagement of funds lead-
_ ing to heavy losses in such
enterprises as the -Ata Textile
Complex, now in liquidation, the
Israel shipyards, and 'branches
of the Israel Corporation.

Ronald. Karbal .

Ronald M. Karbal, vipe
president of National Wholesale
Drug Co., died Aug. 6 at age 59.
Born in Detroit, Mr. Karbal
was a member of Cong. Shaarey
Zedek.
He leaves his< wife, Marilyn;
two daughters, Mrs. Norman
(Laurie) Brant and Mre. Keith
(Karen) Davis; a son, Wayne;
and two brothers, Michael and
Seymour.
