A tribute: the gift that brings joy
before Its ever received.

When you honor someone close to you with a JARC tribute — for a
bar mitzvah, birthday, anniversary, memorial, or special occasion —
you'll be bringing them joy.
But before they ever open their tribute, your gift will be bringing joy
to people you've never met. People at the Jewish Association for
Retarded Citizens.
You'll be' helping those people realize their dream of living a life of
quality, pride, and dignity. And helping keep hope alive for the
hundreds of others waiting for a home.
Send a JARC tribute today. It's a very special gift that brings joy
before it's ever received.

the detainees were kept aboar

airline reported.

The person at the State De- 1
partment said the incident was
merely a case where "a local of
did what local officials do,"
and this type' of situation hap-
pens more often than is re-
ported.
Since nobody on the plane had
Saudi visas, the State Depart-
ment official said, local officials
had to obtain waivers from
Riyadh in order for any
passengers to deplane. When
this was accomplished, the
passengers were allowed to
enter the terminal. The State
Department said all passengers
were accorded the privilege.
The anonymous caller indi•
