Jerusalem (JTA) — Despite ap-
proval of at least two selections, Israel
has rejected a list of proposed Palesti-
nian members of a joint Jordanian-
Palestinian negotiating team that
would meet in Washington with Re-
agan Administration officials for
high-level, Middle East peace talks
later this year.
Although there has been no offi-
cial reaction to the list from the United
States, U.S. officials have indicated
that they will not be trapped into a
fruitless meeting with the Palestine
Liberation Organization. The seven
delegation members listed are either .
PLO, officials or closely associated with
the organization.
