Seniors To Hear
Book Review

The senior adult department of
the Jewish Community Center
will present a book review by
Frances Weinberg at 11 a.m.
Tuesday at the Jimmy Prentis
Morris Branch of the Center.
Weinberg will review Davita's
Harp by Chaim Potok.
The "Ask Your Agency" lecture
series will present a talk about
the Oak Park Community Cegter
at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the assembly
hall. Guest speakers will be
Laurie Buchman, senior outreach
coordinator, and Joyce Cheresh,
outreach facilitator for Oak Park.
Movies will be shown at 2 p.m.
Tuesday in the JPM assembly
hall.
Ron Brown, a volunteer for the
American Cancer Society, will
speak on "Risk Assessment —
Early Detection and Prompt
Treatment" at 1 p.m. July 26 in
the JPM assembly hall. Admis-
sion is free. The program is sup-
ported by a grant from Area
Agency on Aging, 1 B.
Active Adults will hear Sybil
Mintz speak in the library of the
Maple/Drake building on
"Chagall" at 1 p.m. Thursday. She
also will show slides of Israel.
Luncheon will be served at a
charge in room 239, prior to the
lecture. For reservations, call
