toss a party ... They're always
slam-bang fun goodies . . . Occa-
sion was outdoor barbeque on
Saturday following July 4th fes-
tivities . . . Red, white and blue
decorations . . . each guest with
own little champagne bottle firec-
rackers and sparklers ... plenty
of booze, gourmet-style hors
d'oeuvres galore . . . hotdogs,
hamburgers, Lou Popper's well-
noted chili ... sweet table for a
wedding or bar mitzvah.
Nice to have neighbors like Til-
lie and Bill Ross ... Both yards
(Robbins and Ross) were filled
with tables . . . as a "one-man
band" played according to dance-

105 YEARS OF MARRIAGE
was recently celebrated by three
couples who have been longtime
friends ... 35 years for each ...
Debbie and Jerry Glassman, mar-
ried June 25, stood up for Marilyn
and Fred Cherney, June 18 . . .
and Flo and Ira Levy were wed the
next day, June 19 . . . The three
couples spent their honeymoons
together at Delano Hotel in
Miami Beach, Fla. . . . Each year
they still observe joyfully to-
gether.

Band Performs
The South Oakland Concert
Band will perform for "Music in
the Park," Oak Park's summer
concert series, at 7:30 p.m. Tues-
day in Shepherd Park.
The concert is free and open to
