elected president for,an unprece-
dented fourth term of the Detroit
Chapter of the American-Jewish
Committee.

and Levi Smith, vice presidents;
Mark Pittman, secretary; and
Harvey Kleiman, treasurer.
Re-elected to new three-year
terms were: Reuben Bergman,
Paul D. Borman, Herschel Fink,
Jeffrey Jenks and Dr. James
Labes. The new members of the
board serving three-year terms
are Harley Selling and Nissen
Uten.
The meeting was the occasion to
honor Walter Shapero with the
AJComittee's Human Rights
Medallion.
Robert Amberg was chairman
of the nominating committee.
