THE ittitit Dr. David Feld, a physician spe- cializing in obstetrics and gyne- cology, died July 4 at age 70. Born in Detroit, Dr. Feld was graduated from Wayne State University and the University of Michigan School of Medicine. He interned at Harper Hospital and completed his training at the University of Chicago Hospital and Cook County Hospital. He was on the staff of the former Woman's Hospital (now Hutzel Hospital), where he began the practice of obstetrices and gyne- cology. Dr. Feld was on the origi- nal medical staff of Sinai Hospital and its chief of obstetrics and gynecology and was an adjunct Dr. Louis Stillman Dr. Louis J. Stillman, a dentist with offices in Dearborn, died July 9 at age 76. Born in Russia, Dr. Stillman was a 1931 graduate of the Uni- versity of Michigan School of De- ntistry. He was a member of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity and Adat Shalom Synagogue. He leaves his wife, Dorothy; three sons, Dr. Donald, Dr. Bur- ton and Dr. Joel; a daughter, Mrs. Harvey (Rita) Simon of Boston, Mass.; two sisters, Mrs. Louis (Mary) Kaiman and Mrs. Max (Pauline) Kornwise; and nine grandchildren. Centenarian Dies professor of medicine at WSU's medical school. He was a patron of the Detroit Institute of Arts and a member of Adat Shalom Synagogue. He leaves his wife, Barbara; two sons, Daniel J. of New York and Jonathan S. of New Jersey; a daughter, Suzanne L. Feld Kan- darian; a brother, Dr. Julius; and a sister, Mrs. Beatrice Howard. Rabbi Roginsky Gladys Warren Garvett, a life member of Temple Beth El, died July 5 at age 100. Born in Detroit, Mrs. Garvett was a member of Women's Ameri- can ORT, Hadassah, Jewish Chautauqua Society and Na- tional Council of Jewish Women. She established a drama school in the early 1900s in her name to assist drama students. She was graduated from Emerson College. She leaves a son, Charles M.; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Gordon; and one grandson. New York (JTA) — Rabbi Moshe Roginsky, executive direc- tor of the Ezras Torah worldwide relief organization for some 30 years, died July 7. He was 76. Grand Rapids Rabbi Dies At 58 Bronfman Kin Rabbi Phillip Sigal, spiritual leader of Ahairas Israel Congrega, tion in Grand Rapids, died July 5 at age 58. Born in Toronto, Rabbi Sigal studied at Yeshiva University, the University of Toronto and Columbia University. He was or- dained at the Jewish Theological Seminary. He received a doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh in 1979. He held a pulpit in New Jersey for 17 years and served on various committees for human services. He founded the Cumberland County Guidance Center in 1960. Rabbi Sigal was involved in ecumenical activities and founded the annual scholar-in-residence program at the synagogue. He is survived by his wife, Lil- lian; two daughters, Sharon and Sabrina Sigal Falls, both of Philadelphia; and two brothers, Manuel and Harold, both of To- ronto. Interment Toronto.
