ISRAEL CHAPTER will hold
its first meeting of the 1985-1986
adminstrative year at 8:15 p.m.
Tuesday in the lower lounge of
McDonnell Towers No. 1 24400
Civic Center Dr., Southfield.
Mary Martin, regional coor-
dinator of the Michigan Cancer
Foundation, and Barbara Zonder,
B'nai B'rith Women's Council of
Metropolitan Detroit, will present
a slide show on breast cancer. •
Family and friends are invited.
An old-fashioned ice cream social
will follow.

LOUIS D. BRANDEIS CHAP-
TER invites members and guests
to a meeting on Wednesday at
noon at the Knob Woods club
house. Luncheon will be served at
a nominal charge, Evelyn Berger,
vice president of program, an-
nounces Anne Mandlebaum will
talk on "Save All Ethiopian Jews"
and show slides. Reservations are
being taken by Rose Pogats, 967-
4068, and Betty Stewart, 557-
3117. Eleanor Fine is president.

DOWNTOWN-FOX LODGE
will hold its annual all-day picnic
at David Shepherd Park in Oak
Park. There will be races, games
and prizes. Kosher hot-dogs,
donuts, hot and cold drinks will be
available at a nominal charge.
Friends and prospective members
are invited.

LOUIS MARSHALL SUBUR-
BAN LODGE will meet at 8 p.m.
Tuesday at the Jimmy Prentis
Morris Branch of the Jewish
Community Center. Topic for dis-
cussion will be "Insurance." Lou
Goutman will describe the var-
ious plans presented by insurance
companies. A question and an-
swer period will follow. Guests are
invited, Refreshments will be
served,
The lodge just completed its Is-
rael Bond campaign by raising
