Corliss Rosenberg was in-
stalled as president of the Music
Study Club of Metropolitan De-
troit at the organization's annual
installation meetng.
Doris Markel, newly elected
president of the Michigan Feder-
ation of Music Clubs, was the in-
stalling officer.
Installed with Mrs. Rosenberg
were: Claire Brown, first vice
president; Miriam Meckler, sec-
ond vice president; Joan Rose, re-
cording secretary; Sonia
Lipenholtz, corresponding secre-
tary; Cyrille Friedman, financial
secretary; Ruth Widrich, trea-
surer.
Board members elected for
two-year terms were: Sophie
Ceresnie, Vera Rollin, Betty
Weiss. Serving one-year terms on
the board are: Maryann F. Ab-
ramsohn, Kim Rosner-Doelker
and Sylvia Scherr.
Mrs. Rosenberg has served two
terms as president and has held
other club offices.

commander of the Department of
Michigan, Jewish War Veterans,
at the department's 44th annual
convention.
Elected with him were Gerald
Leopold, senior vice commander;
Nathan Zeron, junior vice com-
mander; Ely Katz, quartermas-
ter; Jack Kraizman, judge -advo-
cate; and William Greenberg,
National Executive Committee
member.
The Ladies Auxiliary elected
Elaine Levy department
president at the convention.
Elected with her were: Ruth
Soverinsky, senior vice president;
Shirley Schlussel, junior vice
president; Toby Lantz, treasurer;
Florence Weber, patriotic in-
structress; Beatrice Knight, con-
ductress; Dorothy Goldberg,
