Michael Mostyn and Jaymie
Phillips were married recently
at the Great Neck Synagogue in
Great Neck, N.Y.
Michael is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Earle Mostyn of Southfield.
Jaymie is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Edward Phillips of
Bellmore, N.Y.
The maid, of honor was Jodie
Wender. Bridesmaids were
Wendi Zupmore, Robin Feigen-
baum, Rhonda Rubin, Joanne
Lewis and Laura Budin.
David Mostyn was his
brother's best man. Ushers were
the bridegroom's brother Corey
Mostyn, the bride's brother
Mitchell Phillips, Marc Zup-
more, Glenn Kovach and
Michael Rose. The ring bearer
was Jon Wender.
The wedding party also in-
cluded the bridegroom's grand-
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin
Mostyn, and the bride's grand-
parents, Mr. and Mrs. William
Phillips and Mrs. Sahra Blue.
Following a honeymoon cruise
on the Queen Elizabeth II to
Bermuda, the couple is residing
in Farmington Hills.

Workmen's Circle of Michigan
will host Congressman Howard
Wolpe (D-Mich.) speaking on
"Hunger in Africa: The Plight of
the Falashas," on June 28 at 8
p.m. at the Workmen's ircle
Center, 26341 Coolidge, Oak
Park.
Congressman Wolpe is a
former professor of African af-
fairs and serves as chairman of
the House Sub-Committee on
Africa. He has appared on na-
tional television interview
shows including ABC's Night-
line program as an expert on
this topic.
The public is invited at no
charge. For information, contact

Elinor and Howard Bernstein
of Cleveland, Ohio, are pleased

of their daughter, Alaine Joy, to
former Detroiter Dr. Joey Adam
Lerner, son of Selma Lerner of

The new Mrs. Lerner is a
graduate of the University of
Michigan with a degree in eco-
nomics. Dr. Lerner, a child
psychiatrist, is a graduate of the
University of Michigan, Wayne
State Medical School, UCLA
Medical Center and has an addi-
tional degree in public health
from. the University of Washing-
ton.
The couple will reside in De-
nver where Dr. Lerner is on the
psychiatric and pediatric staffs
of the National Jewish Hospital
and Mrs. Lerner will complete
her master's degree in market-
ing and finance at the Univer-
sity of Denver.
