its 12th annual mayor's Fourth
of July three-mile funfest run.
The race will be held at the Oak
Park Community Center in the
parking lot adjacent to the ten-
nis courts.
Registration is required.

concert series, "Music in the
Park," will feature the Macom-

Theatre Arts Department of the
Detroit Institute of Arts will
present two Cinema Canada
programs at the Detroit Insti-
tute of Arts Auditorium on June
28 at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 8 p.m.
All of the programs are open
to the public without charge.
Pianist Roger Williams and
the Max Davey Singers will
begin Southfield's new concert
program, the Southfield Star
Series, on Sunday at 8 p.m. in
the Southfield Pavilion.

dom Festival will begin with
opening ceremonies in Windsor's
Dieppe Park today and last
until July 4.
Fireworks are scheduled for
July 1. Windsor kicks off its
events with the Las Vegas
Casino, Conklin Carnival, live
music in the park and a recrea-
tion of an 18th Century trap-
per's village.
Other event include the
Wheels of Freedom Automobile
Show and Parade, Comerica
10K Freedom Festival Run,
Cinema Canada I and II and
Children's Day. Most events are
free to the public.
