Marlene Borman

Marlene Borman was elected
president of the Jewish Welfare
Federation Women's Division at
its 39th annual meeting.
Active in the division for
many years, Mrs. Borman has
served as vice president and
Campaign chairman. In addition
to her many other communal
involvements, she sits on Feder-
ation's board of governors, and
on the boards of Hebrew Free
Loan Association and the
Jewish Community Center.
Other officers include: Sharon
Hart, Linda Lee, Nancy Jacob-
son and Marcy Feldman, vice
presidents; Sally Krugel and
Geri Lester, secretaries; and
Ellen Labes and Jane Sherman,
designates to Federation's board
of governors.
Elected to the board of direc-
tors for an additional three-year
term are Cyrille Goode, Mrs.
Jacobson, Francine Gold, Edie
Mittenthal, Judith Naftaly, Pam
Opperer and 1Vjarcia Parven.
Elected to the board for a first
term are: Barbara Berry, Kim
Dickstein, Marilyn Goldberg,
Jill Grundland, Julie Gurwin,
Jan Hauser, Linda Klein, Be-
verly Leuchter, Beverly Liss,
Beth Lowenstein, Susan Miller,
Donna Slatkin and Eileen Was-
serman. Hortense Falk was

In her 1985 Campaign report,
Chairman Sharon Hart, who
was elected to serve a second
term, announced that pledges
for the 1985 Allied Jewish
Camaign now total nearly $3
million — a Women's Division
record.
