The Human Side of Family
Service, a slide presentation,
will be highlighted at the an-
nual meeting of the Jewish
Family Service and Resettle-
ment Service at 7:45 p.m. Wed-
nesday at Cong. Beth Abraham
Hillel Moses, announces Marvin
C. Daitch, president. -
Guest speaker will be author
Stephen Birmingham. He will
speak on "A Non-Jew Looks at
the Jewish Family — Past, Pre-
sent and Future."
The meeting will be the occa-
sion to mark the 60th anniver-
sary of the JFS. Past presidents
will be honored.
Officers and board members
will be elected.
The chairman of the nominat-
ing committee for Jewish Fam-
ily Service is Helen Shevin,
immediate past president; Max
Sosin is chairperson of the
nominating committee for Re-
settlement Service. Members of
the Jewish Family Service
nominating committee are: Mar-
jory Ansell, Albert Colman,
John E. Jacobs, Sylvia Jaffe, Ai-
leen Kleiman, Edith Resnick.
Members of the Resettlement
Service nominating committee
are: Judith Cantor, Anne Cap-
lan, Pauline Grossman, George
Tarnoff. Agnes Klein and Sha-
ron Taylor are co-chairmen of
the annual meeting planning

concerts and on radio and tele-
vision.
He later spent six years at the
Oxford Synagogue in Johannes-
burg, South Africa. He served as
cantor of the Chevra Kadisha
Congregation, Montreal, prior to
his post in Toronto.
Cantor Bagley's vocal and
cantorial training was initially
undertaken by the late Cantor
Yehoshua Lind. He continued
with Madame Charnova of the
Chicago Conservatory of Music,
Avery Crew of Detroit and Ar-
nold Fulton of Johannesburg.
Rabbi/Cantor Edward Feigel-
man is a native of Detroit. He
has served as cantor of congre-
gations in New York, New Or-
leans, and for the past eight
- years was cantor of Beth Israel
Congregation, Montreal. He has
performed in concerts in New
York, Cleveland, Montreal, and
during the past few months in
South Bend, Ind., at Cong. Beth
El in Windsor and at Cong.
B'nai Moshe in Oak Park.
He is a student of Cantor
Hyman J. Adler of Cong. B'nai
David in Southfield and took
voice lessons from Crew at
Wayne State University.
He has lectured widely on the
subject of Cantorial Music and
has authored a number of arti-
cles in that field.
