Youth Shabbat
At B'nai David

Cong. B'nai David will ob-
serve Youth Shabbat at services
at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
Members of the senior youth
group of the synagogue will
conduct the entire Sabbath serv-
ice and read the Torah portion
in the main sanctuary.
Eric Abramson will deliver
the guest sermon. Kiddush will
follow, spnsored by the parents
of the participants.
In. addition, Rabbi Morton
Yolkut, spiritual leader of B'nai
David, will present special
awards. to those young people
who served as ushers at the
congregation's Israel Bond Ap-
peal during the High Holy Days
last fall.
Participating in the Youth
Shabbat service are: Ethan Ber-
kove, Howard Freedland, Craig
Freedman, Jeffrey Kaufman,
Mark Lusky, Mark Nakisher,
Robert Nakisher, Steven
Nakisher, Charles Schwartz,
Jeremy Shere, Todd Stearn,
Daniel Wais, Dean Weiss, Lorne
Zalesin and Daniel Yolkut.

Consecration Class
Reunion Planned

The first Cong. Shaarey Zedek
consecration reunion will take
place on Oct. 19. Information is
being sought about the current
names and addresses of the fol-
lowing former consecrants: Class
of 1936; Charlotte Barak, Viv-
ian Ellenson, Virginia Golden,
Lucille Kavanau, Marion Lewis,
Nathalie Lightstone, Ruth
Nagler, Sylvia Schlossberg,
Bernice Sorock, Betty Vineberg
and Bertha Whitehouse; and
Class of 1935; Gertrude Men-
delssohn. Persons who have this

slated to take place at 8 p.m.
